7-27-11Everlast Pet Casket We were devastated to have lost our 6 yr old maltese,Scotty. When I called Steve, on a Sunday looking only to leave a message for Monday, he called me right back! Because we are lucky enough to live in the same State, Steve let me come Monday morning to pick-up Scotty's casket. Both my 12 year old son and myself felt comfort as we walked in. Steve & his family were very supportive & understanding. His kids took to my son & were able to put a smile on his face. The casket was beautiful, well built & comforting for us to know Scotty was safe. Because of this, it was much easier for closure. I would HIGHLY recommend "Pets We Loved". Who we are
The company is owned and operated by Steve Mondazzi and is located in Tyngsboro, MA, just about 30 miles North West of Boston. Steve's wife Kathy, his son Matthew and daughter Cassandra are his biggest supporters. The real rulers of the house though are their cat Gracie and their black lab Mandy. The family has grown up and lived in the Massachusetts their entire lives.
How it all started
In 2002, we lost our beloved cat "Dusty" to kidney failure. My wife had her since she was a kitten and her death was very difficult for the family. She asked me to make a casket for her so we could keep her close to us. About 6 months later, my mom lost her cat "Pumkin" and she asked me to do the same for him. And not even a year later in 2003, we lost our other cat "Sammy" to cancer and did the same for her. It was, to say the least, a very difficult year for us. We had looked online for a pet casket but couldn't find anything that we thought was worthy of our pets. So after making the casket for Sammy, my family convinced me to start this business so I could offer these beautiful caskets to other folks that love their pets as much as we do.
So in 2003, I started Pets We Loved and the response since then has been overwhelming. We named the casket lines after the three pets that most inspired us as a way to pay tribute to love they gave us for so long.
I have a good friend, Shawn Duggan, that's a fantastic web designer and is responsible for this great website. I could not have done it without him.
My Promise to You
I can't claim we're the biggest supplier of pet memorial products and that's okay with us. What I'm most concerned about is that I have the opportunity to speak with each and every customer, to understand their needs and concerns and to provide the most beautiful products I possibly can to help ease the loss of a beloved pet.
