Q: Are Your Pet Caskets waterproof?
A: Yes, the Everlast, Furever and Tribute Pet caskets all come with a sealing kit to keep water and air out.

Q: Are the seal kits difficult to apply?
A: No, they are very simple to apply. They are a 2 sided adhesive that is first applied to the lid than the tape protective backing is peeled away and then the lid can be secured to the casket base.

Q: Are the Your Pet Caskets strong?
A: Yes, our Everlast and Tribute Pet caskets are made of polyurethane and the Furever Pet caskets are made from Styrene. Both materials provides a solid, naturally air tight and water resistant enclosure, able to withstand pressure exceeding 360 pounds per square inch. No additional vaulting is needed.

Q: Is it okay to bury the pet casket in my backyard?
A: This is by far the most popular method used in burying a pet but please check with your local officials if you are concerned about it being allowed where you live. Your local city/town may allow it if your land meets certain setback requirements. Burying an animal on private property is ultimately the responsibility of the property owner. Pets We Loved will not be held responsible for any issues or actions taken against the property owner as a result of using our products or the property owner's decision to bury a pet on unapproved or unlicensed burial property.

Q: Can a Pet Casket be moved if I decide to move to another house someday?
A: Yes, since the Everlast, Furever and Tribute Pet Caskets do not degrade, they can be carefully removed and reset at another property.  Please use caution when removing the casket so not to puncture the shell.

Q: Can I use your Pet Caskets at a regular Pet Cemetery?
A: Yes, these are the same type of pet caskets that are used at all Pet Cemeteries. There should be no problem with them being accepted.

Q: How long will it take for a pet casket to be ready?
A: All our Pet Caskets are in stock and ready to send out. Orders received by 1:00pm (est) ship the same day.

Q: What if it’s an emergency and I need a pet casket on the same day I call to order one?
A: I understand that emergencies occur but we cannot have a casket arrive the same day. In these cases, I suggest contacting a local Pet Cemetery as they will usually have in-stock caskets they could sell you. They will be more expensive but at least you will have it that same day.

Q: Can I have a Pet Casket shipped to me overnight?
A: Yes, all our Pet caskets can be sent overnight via UPS if ordered before noon (est).  Rush shipping is extra so please call us at 877-738-2275 for an express shipping quote.

Q: Is shipping available to Canada?
A: Yes, we can ship to all areas of Canada. There is additional transit time needed for customs and there is a small additional shipping charge. All Canadian taxes are the buyer's responsibility and may incur when you receive the item. Our free ground shipping does not apply to Canada – please call us at 877-738-2275 for a shipping quote.

Q: Is shipping available to other countries other than the US and Canada?
A: Sorry, no. We do not currently ship beyond the US and Canada

Q: Can I return a casket if I do not end up needing to use it?
A: Yes, of course. We understand that plans sometime change. All Pet Caskets can be returned within 30 days if unused. They must be securely packaged. There is a 15% restocking fee that applies and all returning shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us at 877-738-2275 if you would like to arrange a return.

Pet Cremation Urn FAQs:

Q: How are my ashes typically returned to me from the veterinarian?
A: They are typically returned in a small tin. Inside the tin, the ashes should be in a sealed plastic bag or similar. The ashes can be removed from the tin and placed into one of our urns.

Q: How do I get my pet's ashes into the urn?
A: Our wood urns have a panel on the bottom that is removed with 4 screws. The sealed ashes can be placed inside and the panel replaced. Placing the ashes only takes a few minutes to do. Only insert the sealed ashes into the urn, never place loose ashes into the urn.

Q: Is there an additional cost for standard ground shipping?
A: No, standard shipping is free with all urn orders.

Q: How long does it take to receive my urn?
A: All pet cremation urns ship the next business day, fully engraved, and arrive in 3-5 business days.

Q: Can I express ship my urn?
A: Yes, please contact us when you need an immediate shipment and orders that are placed by noon (est) will ship the same day. We can provide the express shipping charges when you call. The average overnight charge is $30 for urns.

Q: What can I have engraved on my urn's brass plate?
A: We offer up to 4 lines and 25 total characters per line (includes spaces). Most pet owners use 3 lines with the pet's name, the dates (ex, 2000 - 2006), and then a single line of text (ex. "We will miss you always").

Pet Cremation Keepsake Jewelry FAQ's

Q: Do the pendants include a chain?
A: Yes, either a matching 20" sterling silver or 14k gold plate chain is included with every pendant.

Q: How do I place the ashes into the pendant?
A: Each pendant has a screw off plug opening to allow the ash or fur to be placed inside the pendant. For most of the pendants, it's part of the chain loop at the top of the pendant. Once its secured, it's nearly transparent to anyone looking at the pendant. A very small funnel is included with each pendant to aid in placing the loose ash inside. Just a very small sample is needed.

Q: How are my ashes typically returned to me from the veterinarian?

Q: Are the pendants available in solid gold versus 14k gold plate?
A: We do offer several of our gold pendants in 14k solid gold. Please contact us for specific pendant pricing.

Q: Can my pendant be engraved?
A: Yes, many of the pendants can be engraved and we do offer engraving services. Please contact us for specific pricing and availability.

Q: For the Engraved Granite Markers, how do I send you a photo of my pet?
A: There is an area on the checkout page that you can attach a photo or you can email one to us directly at petsweloved@verizon.net.

Q: How can make sure the engraving and picture on my Engraved Granite Marker looks okay?
A: We always email a proof to verify that its exactly what you like before any engraving is done.

Q: Are all your Pet Memorial Markers weather proof? Is it okay to leave them outside all the time?
A: Yes, all our markers are design and mad to withstand the elements. They are perfect for a burial site or garden memorial.
